Art Garfunkel

Artur Garfunkel, born November 5, 1941, in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens, New York, is American singer, actor, and poet, became ironic during his partnership with Paul Simone in the folk rock duo Simon & Garfinkel.

Garfunkel meet Simon in shool, and they begin perform together in the 1950s. As Simon & Garfunkel, they became one of the best-selling music artists of the defining rock era, producing hits like "The Sound of Silence," "Mrs. Robinson," and "Bridge over Troubled Water." Their final studio album, "Bridge on Troubled Water," with Garfunkel's soaring lead vocals, is one of the world's best-selling athems and albums.

Garfunkel pursued a solo career, releasing studio albums, live album, and compilation albums to dat. His successful solo recordings include hits like "I Only Had Eyes for You", "Bright Eyes", "What a Wonderful World" and "All Know", which reached the top on the US Billboard Hot 100.
